After a participant registers on your registration page, they will be shown on the zconnect.io control panel under the participant's tab. In the participant's area, you can assign a participant to one or multiple case numbers.
Assign a participant to a case
You can assign a participant to an existing case, a new case, or to multiple cases. This allows you to associate a participant with cases for grouping and grouped actions.
Admit a participant to a meeting from the participant's tab
Adding a participant to a meeting allows you to get more information before assigning to a case or moving them back to the ungrouped participant's area. You can admit a participant into the meeting by clicking the more options button on the participant and then clicking "Admit". The participant will show up as an "Active Participant".
Assign a case to a participant after admitting to meeting
After admitting a participant into the meeting you can assign them to a case by typing a case number and clicking assign. Doing this will group them to the case while also putting them back into the waiting room.
Note: Currently you cannot assign multiple cases to an active participant. To do this simply put the participant back into the waiting room and assign multiple case numbers once they are in the waiting room.
Put participant back in the waiting room without assigning a case
After admitting a participant into the meeting you can place them back into the waiting room. You can do this when you don't want to assign a case to a participant and no longer want them in the meeting or when you want to assign a participant to multiple case numbers.
Remove a participant from the control panel
Removing a participant from the control panel will remove them from the zconnect.io control panel but will keep them in the waiting or meeting room (depending on where they are at the time of removal). This can be useful for other court personnel or select participants that you don't want to manage through the zconnect.io control panel.
